What is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis, a curvature of the spine is a disorder that causes an abnormal curve of the spine, or backbone. The spine has standard curves when looking from the side, but it should appear straight from the front. It can be generally caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. However, the exact cause of most scoliosis is not yet evidenced.
